Garden mint, also known as spearmint, is the most commonly used mint in general cooking. It has strong hardy growth with a classic mint flavour.
Spikes of lilac flowers emerge in summer attracting bees and butterflies.
As with all mints they can be invasive so we recommend to plant them in a pot if wanting to keep them contained.
