Mint Pineapple
🌿 Pineapple Mint (Mentha suaveolens ‘Variegata’)
A sweet, scented mint with soft variegated foliage, vigorous growth, and delicate white summer flowers 🤍
🌿 Pineapple mint is a variegated form of apple mint, grown for its cream‑edged leaves, soft texture, and fresh, fruity mint aroma. It’s an extremely hardy mint and a beautiful choice for containers, patio pots, and ornamental herb plantings. A sweeter cousin of apple mint, it forms an attractive clump around 40–60 cm tall, with softly hairy leaves that brighten borders and sensory gardens.
In late summer it produces white flower spikes, which draw in bees and other pollinators.
Pineapple mint has a sweet, fruity, apple‑pineapple flavour that shines in fresh, summery dishes. It’s very versatile and can be used anywhere a gentle minty lift is needed.
• Brightens fruit salads and fruit dishes.
• Excellent in iced teas, cocktails, lemonades, and infused waters.
• Finely chopped into salsas, chutneys, and yoghurt dressings.

• Works in savoury dishes too, though its sweetness makes it best for fresh, uncooked recipes.
