Lemon Balm

Lemon Balm

A wonderful aromatic lemon-scented plant that will grow strong year after year.

Great used in teas, cooked with fish or added to dishes and bakes where you would like to add a lemony flavour.

The essential oils in Lemon Balm are considered to have antioxidant, anti-viral and calming properties and are used in many aromatherapy practices to help relieve cramps, indigestion, nausea, cold sores, anxiety, stress, insomnia and other sleep and cognitive disorders.

Growers Tip: When preparing Lemon Balm tea, keep your cup covered to stop the herb's essential oils evaporating in the steam.
