Garlic 'Solent Wight'

Originating from Northern France, this garlic variety has adapted to growing in cooler and wetter conditions making it well suited for growing anywhere in the UK. Solent Wight produces medium-sized garlic bulbs with a strong flavour ideal for Mediterranean cooking. The flower shoots and leaves are edible and are milder in taste.
 
Garlic Solent Wight is a clump-forming perennial, that is commonly lifted once the plant has died back. Each clove can be carefully split from the bulb and replanted to obtain many perfect garlic bulbs.
